olerud93
Just signed up and.... WOW! This site is absolutely incredible! I can't believe this site has eluded me for so damn long. I may not make frequent visits, as I don't always have access to the Internet, but I sure wish I could. It should win a webby. THANK YOU!!!!!! Also, I just downloaded all of DylanBradbury's calculators and they're all amazing too. This guy is a genius! They all give accurate results. Just wondering if the Total Season/Total Classic Mods are made with his calculators?

tebjr
Here is what the TC guys use to build rosters. http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=32568
olerud93
Thanks for the info tebjr and rroy0824. Has anyone made a roster entirely using dylanbradbury's calculator?
Jim825
None of the TC mods were created using Dylan's calculators. As tebjr mentioned, when creating the rosters, we start with the Lahman database and then apply stecropper's Global tweaks (the ones listed on the thread tebjr posted). After that, it's a matter of simming multiple seasons and tweaking individual player attributes (and repeating the process) until the final season stats leaders are close to the ones from the actual season we are modding. TC9 is a little different because we took a number of classic team "packages" created for MVP2004 and imported them into MVP2005 rosters. Because the rosters in these packages were created by multiple people and before there were any "rules" developed, we never took the time to go back and tweak all 120 teams. olerud93
Thank you for the reply, your information was helpfull. I can't wait to play some TC games, just need a little free time. What did you not like about his caclualtors, so you didn't use them for TC? Is anyone working on a roster only built with his calculators?
tebjr
TC was released before Dylan made his calculators. Why the big interest in a roster built off of Dylan's calculators. He done great work on them, just wondering why such a big interest in that?
Yankee4Life
That's true tebjr. Many people do not know that the very first time we saw Total Classics was in a roster set for Mvp Baseball 2004.
olerud93
Well I have had the game for years and always wished that was a calculator to convert stat to ratings. I was sure nothing existed until today when I ran a google search and this site came up with his calculators. I just thought a roster built from his calcuators would be neat.
