Mvp Baseball 09 Custom Covers ('10 Style)

Recommended Posts

Here is a MVP 09 cover I made based off the style of the current 10 titles. I only got 1 so far, but hopefully could make more in the future. And I know this isn't the greatest pick for a cover athlete, but it was a good picture, and when it comes to making covers, I would rather work with a good picture before a good player lol. Just click on link or pic to see the full resolution picture. Enjoy!

Well, I don't see how you are having a problem. lol

Its not the matter of size, but the quality itself. Not all the images on there have the same quailty. And you can see i dont just cut the pic and put it in the temp, I put effects on it like the real covers. Thats why some images dont work because they don't work out with effects. Plus I'm not saying this is the only pic that worked for me, this was just a good one I found in a quick search.

Well I mean I understand the quality part, but it shouldn't be a problem. I mean all you are doing is making duplicate renders and changing layer options from there. Then you might through in a little soft brushing on low opacity on color dodge and then you spray on some splatter brushes. Doesn't seem the effects that you do would really matter with what picture you have./

It does matter, because a lot more goes into it then what you mentioned. Im not just putting the same effect everytime regardless of what it looks like, I work with it till it looks really good to me. And not all pictures come out with a really good final product.

Hm, well have fun trying to find the perfect images, with perfect lighting and atmosphere. Not going to happen.

I mean don't get me wrong, it's pretty good but you cant improve it. You still imo need to give it a little more splatter and blend it in a little better. This one is great.

Yeah ive seen that one before and its good, but when you compare his to the real cover you see his splattering is off.

I think a cool cover would be all the 2008 award winners on 1 cover(AL & NL MVP'S, AL & NL Cy Young, AL & NL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR) EPIC!! i would love to see a Matt Cain or Pablo Sandoval cover as well. :D
