Converting files from .sav to .dat

Is it possible? If so, that would be a huge help because I need to make some edits on my roster file that I cannot do without MVP edit. For some reason, John Vander Wal and Rickey Gutierrez show up twice and I want to delete one of each.

I've never heard of anyone pulling it off.

What cant you do in MVP Edit? It seems to me that you can do anything there, and whatever you cant do you can just figure out from the actual data files themselves.

I have a .sav roster, which MVPedit does not recognize, and my roster is fully up to date (just no lineups and rotations set because of free agents, etc.). For some reason John Vander Wal and Rickey Gutierrez show up on there twice. They act as two different players and I want to delete one of each (one Vander Wal and one Gutierrez). Plus I wanted to edit a few other things like the FSH picture file for the created Huston Street of mine, etc.
