Actually, I swiped the idea from a Fox Sports graphic that I saw somewhere, I just tried to incorporate it into something I could use.

Like I said earlier, I think everyone takes bits and pieces from something.

BTW, are you still planning on doing to do your Premier League?

Still am man. Just need to find a nice stretch that I can start presenting.

Glad to hear that, V, I am looking forward to it, you've done a lot of work preparing for it.  I realize to some that MVP is a dying breed, but as I've been saying it's hard to deny how solid the game is compared to what's out there.  Going back from The Show or 2K9 was definitely hard to swallow in the graphics department, but that all disappears after you've played a handful of games and wonder why you ever left.

Anyway, I'll still be looking for it.   ^_^

Yeah man, I don't mind.  Just to make sure we're on the same page, I assume you mean this:

If so, shoot me your email and I can send it to you.  I have to warn you though, the layers aren't particularly named, and they're probably in no certain order.  If that is the one, I can try to clean it up a bit and send it to you.

Hey, JR. You mind if I can also get this psd? I'm having trouble making the border on the little box. I want to see how you did it, so I can learn.

I've faced Matt Garza three times this year, he struck out 10 in the first game, 4 in the second, and 11 in this one.  I barely squeaked out a couple of runs with some small ball in the 5th and 6th and somehow stopped them from getting a run across.

Not really sure what's going on, my pitching isn't that great. I can't believe Boston, and now Tampa Bay, isn't destroying the scoreboard against me.  The Rockies and the Giants were unstoppable.

I'll just keep moving and take it..

Well now you have beat Garza, you can move on to possibly an easier match up next.

I have my new 24 inch monitor and your presentations look even better. They look even cleaner and crisp. :D

Good luck in your next game. It will be one great achievement if you can take 2 of 3 from the best 2 teams in the AL.

Thanks, rick, congrats on the new monitor.  I'm using a 19" flat screen now to avoid having to play a stretched version of MVP on my widescreen.  I've almost gotten used to it again.

Like I said, I don't understand losing to the weaker teams and holding my own against the best teams in the league, but I'll take it.  I was worried I'd be 10 games back by the All-Star game, but things are actually starting to look up.

I just fell to 6 games back and so it is getting close to crunch time in regards to making decisions on the direction of the team for the rest of the season.

I actually think you will sneak in to the playoffs. By mid August you will take the lead in the division.

I actually had that feeling of already throwing in the towell, so to speak.  I got my a@@ handed to me all June, I just didn't have an answer on how to win games.   During the first couple of months, I was lost 7 in a row twice, 3 in a row here, 4 in a row there... I was convinced that I was just going to be playing the game for the fun of it without any hopes of getting into the post season.  As I have said in earlier posts, I'm not sure I've played with such a weak team in all of my years of doing seasons.  Luckily for me, the entire A.L. West is awful.

I think that the second half of the year will be much better for you because you know exactly what your team can and can't do.

You now know how long your pitchers can last and you can get them out before they get hit out of the park.

Yep, thanks rick.  I saw that earlier today and made the trade.  I was going to post it but haven't had much time today.

Any chances Holliday doesn't leave?   :D

Good win against TB, Jay. I see Duch bounced back rather nicely.

*Wooh, a lot of red "L"s on that there June schedule, pardner.

Hopefully the 2nd half of the season will be a sea of yellow "W"s. :hi:

I think you should make the most of Holliday.

You might have to look for another LF'er within the next 2 weeks.

That is just a guess but i can't see him staying.
