Man, good tight races in every division, except for the AL East. TB is taking care of business.

Man, that AL West is u-g-l-y. ^_^

If you could rattle off about 5-6 wins in a row... ^_^

*Posted my latest update last night, don't know if you've seen it yet. There was no love in Motown.

This is the absolute understatement of the season.  5 or 6 in a row would probably set me apart for the rest of the season.

Good grief, if I make the playoffs...

Haven't seen your update yet, heading on over now.

Nice tickets, Jay. :hi:

Good luck with Tomko.

Thanks, M.  Here's the pic I snagged off the T.V. to go from.  I love what ESPN has done with their theme this year, but to be quite honest, I'm not sure what all the white specks are supposed to be on the tickets and some of the rest of the theme as well.  Maybe it's just supposed to be an old "worn" look?

I really don't know.

Yeah, I'm guessing they are for that "old-worn" look. I thought I'd seen them somewhere before. ^_^

I like what ESPN did with their theme this year as well. Best one in a quite awhile.

Man, while I'm procrastinating over having to face Verlander, I had another idea.

Sig maybe?

Now that would be big "brownie" points with Trues. :D

Although, they way they're playing right now... He might not want that displayed. ^_^

Man JR, I've definitely gained some more respect for your photoshopping abilities lmao. I'm trying to create a post game board right now for a dynasty I want to start (probably Padres in MLB2k9) and just everything I make seems like garbage after following 2 of your dynasties :(

Thanks stEd.  Listen man, I'm not sure it's all about PS skills as much as it is about the consistency of the dynasty.  The eye candy is ok, but the day to day grind is what makes the dynasty good, IMO.  That being said, each dynasty is unique.  Each has it's own look and feel.  The important ingredient is to update consistently so people are able to follow.  I hate to read a killer book only to find out it's missing pages in the beginning, somewhere in the middle, and at the end, which is the most important part.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but playing and updating are the most important part.  I have some PS work that I have done just in case I make the playoffs.  It's some of the best stuff I've ever done.  But if I don't make it, it's not that important to present it.

Anyway, whatever you're making is your peronal style, I'd love to see it.  As far as I know there's only 1 2K9 Dynasty out there.  It'd be cool to see another one.   B)

That's very true JR, but I also think that people are more likely to follow a dynasty that is visually appealing. Though I do think what I have so far looks pretty decent (Semi-copied the MLB.com daily recap scoreboard :p) when I'm done with it I'll show you it and see what you think :D Either way I go though I'm in good company. If I do MVP 2005 people are always in this forum to check yours out and if I do an MLB2k9 one people are usually checking that forum for Maestro's dynasty.

C'mon Jay. It would nice to sweep this double-header.

Good luck. :hi:

That would be awesome.  Believe it or not, the Tigers are in 1st place in MVP and in real life, with almost identical records.

65-57 Real Life

64-57 MVP (played one less game)

I'd love to sweep them too, anything to get just a hint of separation in this division and I may start to believe I could get in.

MVP has no doubt ran it's course graphically, and I've held back quite a bit this year with the presentation because obviously there's just not much support for the game anymore.  Even so, I personally still believe it's the best baseball sim out there, so I've stuck with it instead presenting something with 2K9 or The Show.  There's just not much left to do with MVP except play it.   :D

Anyway, I'm looking forward to what you have, and I'll definitely follow your dynasty.  By all means, let see what you have.   B)
