CircleChange11
Hey CC, thought I'd post this here since you've been in and out since I started the dynasty. I always get nervous this time of year and start "doodling" in Photoshop (ask Maestro, he'll tell you). Anyway, been working on a little idea for an avatar.. If you don't want it, that's cool. I may still mess around with it. I sort of like the idea, but I wanted to use the seam in the baseball as the "C" for CircleChange, just don't have much room to mess with. I likes it. Appreciate it, man. There's actually a funny story behind the #11. I was always #44 (studs alway have "double numbers" *grin*). But in college I was 6'3 150 pounds and most people only knew me by my nickname "Slim" (seriously, I don't think anyone other than my teammates knew my name was Ryan). But, they MADE me take #11 because the joke was it was a image of me looking at myself in the mirror.
JoeRudi26
Glad you like it, I assume(d) the #8 is for your son? Anyway, I actually made it too big (150x150), and have since resized it so it shouldn't distort. Try this one: (120x120)
CircleChange11
Whether you intended it or not, the pitching hand in the image being a "lefty" is accurate. *grin*

JR, you're not allowed to be pessemistic on a winning streak. Have you been wearing women's underwear and breathing through your eyelids like the lava lizards of the galapagos? The rose goes in the front, big guy. (You've gotta know what movie that is from).

CircleChange11
You ever feel like there's just too much time left on the clock? Pretty much every time our JH games get into the 6th inning and it time to start thinking about a reliever. *grin* (I'm not one of those guys that has a 13yo throw 120 pitches just to get a win). Also, my MLB team (Cards) led the league in blown saves and bullpen losses last year. I understand the "too much time left on the clock" stuff. Here's your chance to do some damage against TEX. 2 or 3 wins would be great, anything but a sweep is tolerable.

JoeRudi26
Tough loss Jay. Looks like Chavez could have just stayed in the hotel. I couldn't hit anything the entire game. (Nick) Blackburn was throwing offspeed stuff 90% of the time, and even his fastball was barely clocking in at the high 80's. I was in front of his pitches all night, either hitting weak grounders or weak pop ups that didn't even get out of the infield. Strange thing is, I still would have won the game if my defense held up.

That's what your boys did to me in the Bay Area.

Good luck with the upcoming Rangers series. lol, it's interesting that you mention that. He came into the game in the 9th, and at the beginning of the 10th inning the announcers even made a comment to the effect of "usually this guy doesn't go more than 1 inning". Not exactly those words, but something like that, and I remembering thinking that I wasn't sure I'd ever heard that before.

I'm not sure what's more frustrating, seeing the 99mph stuff up in your face, or waiting on the 71mph curveball that you damn near break your neck on trying to make contact. I can hit the offspeed stuff, but when you know the guy throws that 89 mph fastball every once in a while, it sort of keeps you on your toes.
