mike360
This is more of a question than a request. MVP originally has 3d crowds for the first 3 rows or so. Is it possible to replace the 2d crowd with 3d crowd ? Is it possible to remodel the 3d crowd models included with the game ? My guess is that each stadium would have to be edited and maybe the stadiums can be edited to have 3d crowds in the stands ? Then, when you play the game, turn the crowd off, and the visible crowd will be the one manually put in via the stadium editor ?
Maestro23
There a a few crowd mods in the Misc. Section of the MVP 2005 Downloads area. Try getting in touch with one of the guys who worked on them. They should be able to give you a nay or ya. Can also try dropping a PM to any one that modded stadiums (Pirate, Sean O, rollie, etc..).

Thanks again.. I'm gonna check into this. If I can figure out how to mod the crowd, I'm going to.

Pirate and Rolie have both been mia lately. Sean O is still around I believe.
Sean O
It's possible, but I'd rather kill myself than go through that again. It is sheer misery, nonstop misery.

Sean O
LOL - Go through what exactly ? 1). Draw triangles over every location where you want a crowd member (at each vertex) in a CAD program. 2). Convert to 3ds max -> zmod-> oedit. 3). export to .txt file by way of rhino points. 4). copy the guts to an existing 3d crowd excel file. 5). Copy the rhino point .txt file into the 3d crowd guts for the location. 6). Randomize 8 crowd members. 7). de-dupe the 3d crowd. . Fix header information. 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 9). debug 10). Get sick of it and just release the damn thing, even though the crowd keeps disappearing randomly (Braves Field).
