Sharpshooter
I've never bought anything refurbished, but this sounds like a good deal. Don't you all think? Wanted to get some input from some of you who have bought refurbished electronics. I'd love to hear your take. Even at that price, I can't afford it right now...but if I were to sell my TV and stand for about $250 during our garage sale this Saturday, I might be tempted. I live 15 minutes from a Compusa store. Compusa Ad page 4...3rd item
stecropper
I have a Vizio 47" and have also owned a 37" & 42" which my sons now have. These are good TV's and especially good for using to hook up a PC to. I use mine solely as my monitor to play MVP 2005. Refurbished electronics typically are good things to buy for the price breaks provided as they are typically restored to their original specifications and thus are practically as good as new - just make certain the warranty period is sufficient. However, I have bought all my Vizio's from Tiger Direct (tigerdirect.com) and they presently have this 42" TV New for $699. They often have sales on these which would drive the cost down even closer to your $599 plus they often provide free shipping as well. So, if you are not in a rush perhaps you should check out tigerdirect.com and get on their mailing list for specials. They send out sales specials practically every day and the Vizio's are normally in the sales a couple times per month or so. I have been very pleased with my purchases from TigerDirect as they have really good prices and ship things out very quickly. Good Luck, Don
