Hollywood70
About a week or so after the all-star break in my 2010 season, I finished a game and then crashed to the desktop upon attempting to view the box score. Henceforth, my season file would not load, but I'd get an error message saying that the file is corrupt. Options were to choose another file or delete the corrupt one. I've been lax on backing up, but did do one in April of the 2010 season, so I only lost 3.5 months worth of games. I'm backing up after every 3 or 4 games from now on. Only takes a few seconds and can save considerable heartbreak for us 2K9ers.
Maestro23
Yeah, I save and backup after every game. Do the same with MVP as well.
MilkmanAnt
Yeah, I save and backup after every game. Do the same with MVP as well. Corruption occurs with MVP? I never backed up my dynasty, very scary.
Mathew
I've moved to MLB2K9 and have yet to have a problem. I had it all the time with MVP so much so that I gave up on it. Just wish we could get a SavReader for MLB2k9.
wolfy6finger
I back up my MVP file after every day (in the dynasty). Just name it "040505, 040605, 040705", etc. The main reason is I do teamchanger alot to play other games (with this site's Top 100 Prospects); so every once an awhile the game freezes when I go back into the game and my file gets corrupted. By doing it every day of the dynasty, I only lose a days worth of games.
LoGatto
Foy 2k do you just copy the whole save folder and put it in a different location for a backup?
