mcoll
i should remind this info is based of the rc win7, so is subject to change with retail version. problem win7 has problems with the season mods like 1978 or any other of the season mods, and might include mvp08, not sure, but think it does, but does not effect the orginal installvof the game. the work around is a pain but is what i had to do. here's what i to do you half to the install the mod just your suppose to in xp, but when you install it on win7 you'll install, but come with a couple errors, just copy the same install from xp into win7 and it works. possible cause my suspicion is might be something with the install thingy, has this the only link besides the os itself to all the mods. Jim825
The single season classic mods (1951, 1956, 1964, 1978, etc.) use a different installer than MVP08, which uses TiT. The installers I developed for the single season classic mods were created with Microsoft Visual Studio v6.0, which was released back in 2005. It's very possible that the installers created with this application won't be compatible with Windows 7. That's why you can install the single season classics mods manually by simply copying files to the proper locations.
mcoll
thanks jim id fogten about the manul install option, and i think you hit on the noise about why this issue is happening. i when back to look at something with the other install i think i saw that the 08 had some issues to, but thee manual method should work. i still have one left to install, so let me try it that way and get back to you on it.
