suicideking81
I was just wondering if anyone has ever organized a league. I am not even sure if it is possible but I think a league would generate alot of interest for the game and it might even get the modders to create more mods for league play. I know that it will take alot of work but I think a league would be good for MVP Baseball fanatics.

Gordo
Thx, Y4L.... I posted this in the online section, but we're a small league of 7-8 guys who play IP 2 IP. OSLB (Old School League Baseball) --- we're in Season 3's latter parts. Unfortunately our Mets owner had to bow out due to health reasons. The beauty of our league is that you don't have to do a lot of managing offline. And you simply submit the box score.... there's no adding number to a website for stats purposes or anything like that. You can check everything out here: Old School League Baseball Check out the "Essentials" tabs if you want to read up on our rules and settings. We're thinking of possibly trying something a little different for Season 4. We may go to having a single owner controlling 3 teams and then taking those teams into a mini-tournament each week against other owners! This would put a variety of teams in the mix. You would need AIM to communicate with other members. If you're interested, you can reach me in the evenings on AIM. My screen name is daflyboys2k3 or you can PM me here. Hope to hear from you.... gordie P.S. Oh yeah.... we do not use Hamachi. It was functioning for some guys and not for others. We are direct IP2IP, so you would need to have a high speed connection whereby you would have some dedicated time to your line (i.e, no kiddies surfing, facebooking, twitting, etc.). If you're behind a router, I can help you connect with most of them.
