Trues Posted January 5, 2005 Share Posted January 5, 2005 I know for linksys routers you just leave the username blank and put "admin" (without the quotes) for the password. Maybe this will work for yours. yankeenc Posted January 8, 2006 Share Posted January 8, 2006 I too am having the same difficulty. My bro and I tried to play just yesterday. It was impossible. Currious- we both have latest patch, Im on dsl, he's on cable( make a difference?) Only mod i have is uniforms(make a difference?) Unhooked my Linksys router and just went through dsl modem, no good. I'm a computer illiterate sob so I dont know how to change ports, or which ones to change. The game manual said port 80, and some others. Five in al, I think. We shut down our firewalls and anti-virus as well to speed things up. Still a no go. Any one got any suggestions on this? We played at my house on my lan and man what a blast. First time against real person, and it's not the same against computer any more. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is the only interaction I get with my Bro since we live so far apart. He played while visiting yesterday and he's hooked. Is 2005 any better for Direct I.P. games? Thanks guys.
