Cavicchi
I loved High Heat up until 03, didn't care much for 04 mainly because of the mouse issue--I think that was the one, 04. I tried MVP Baseball and was blown away by the graphics, gameplay at first was an issue compared to HH. I still miss certain things about HH, such as the stats, saved box scores and box scores with all that great information: number of pitches including balls and strikes, groundballs and flyouts, which way the wind was blowing, umpire names, and Player of the game! Ah, but that was all in the past...

I'd have to say HH '01 was probably my favorite of the series.
MrGravyard
Here is my take on games. i want REAL.. From the short time I played 2K9 it seemed strange. MVP05 is nice grafics but even with adjusting the sliders there seems to be to many hits and Hrs... Now on MVP I only play classics.. HH 04 I Like but there are no old time teams made and I tried but cant make them. So it leaves me with HH 03 which I sort of liked but the grafics -not good. Until I got my laptop and nwo its not bad.. and I used to complain the Outfielder would not try to throw out a runner at home ,, until last nite! I could not believe it after having this game for what 4- 5 years I finally see the OF try to throw out a runner!! WOW. HH03 & 04 to me the Gameplay is as real as it gets... When You adjust the tune file as I have its Great.. picture this--86 Mets-Gooden vs 95 Braves-Maddux.. Maddux wins 1-0 gives up 4 hits 1 walk. Gooden gives up 5 hits 3 walks.. Now thats BASEBALL!!!! baseballfans
I believe that they did do some form of old roster for 03 HHeat series. I even mod the 04 HH all time team roster faces. But the site got cancel and since than project forgotten.

The problem is that when you use all-time rosters without neutralizing the stats, you get a game dominated by dead ball era pitchers, and Bob Gibson.
