Gordo
Do you still exclusively play 2005 in any form or fashion? Have you gone over to 2K, The Show, something else?
GEOLINK
I haven't played MVP 05 on my PC (my disc 2 CD cracked a little and now it won't install), sucks doesn't it? now I just play MLB 09 exclusively.
Griz891
MLB2k9 is it....haven't even looked at MVP 05 since I bought MLB2k9.
rookie_rick
I play MVP and The Show. Recently i have put most of my time on MVP because i still love playing my Dynasty even after having it going for over a year now.
crud
I was playing MVP mostly, because i had all the 09 mods, but it started to crash alot so i switched over to the show.In the show i get roster updates every Monday online, but i just wish it could be modded. ;)
jorodedo
I'm with Griz, 2K9 plays well after tweaking the sliders and such...have tried to go back to MVP for variety but it just doesn't have the same appeal anymore.
Jim825
I had 2K9 for about two weeks, but didn't like it so I sold it. I'm spending most of my time creating classic mods for MVP and maybe once or twice a month I actually play a game or two. Perhaps that's why my TC1978 dynasty is still going after 18 months. I've played 103 games so far and will eventually get through the full season. After that I have plans for a TC1956 dynasty, a TC1951 dynasty, a TC1946 dynasty, etc. At two years per dynasty, I should be busy for quite a while. It's a good thing I have two sets of MVP2005 disks! ^_^
smokey12
I have 2k9 for pc and 360 but I only play it on 360. I'm still playing mvp 08 on pc
jerm
I usually play only MVP, but once in awhile when I feel like switching games I play MLB 2K9, NBA 2K9, or Madden. By the way, NBA 2K9 is probably the best sports game ever released for PC.
Yankee4Life
Still playing Mvp but not right now. Soon as I get my strength back, I'll be playing a game in the 1946 mod.
MilkmanAnt
MVP exclusively. I'm 60-49 in my first year with the Pirates! I did re-install 2K9 when I got my 24" monitor just to see how it would look, and I ended up playing a couple innings.
MilkmanAnt
By the way, NBA 2K9 is probably the best sports game ever released for PC. Naa man. I have it and it's great. MVP is waayyy better to me. Well maybe I'm saying this because I can't use high settings and V-Sync(Which kinda hurts my eyes) when I play 2k9. But it's definately the best basketball game for PC. emath2432
The Cubs have me so frustrated that I have all but given up on baseball for the time being. Have not played any baseball in weeks. When I was playing, I was playing The Show 09 (PS2), and MVP 08.
xiberger
I guess I'm the oddball around here as I'm still playing MVP 2005...literally!
JoeRudi26
MVP 05 ('08 mod, updated rosters). Tried The Show, 2K9, ultimately came back to the best baseball sim avaliable.
laroquece
my main choice is the MVP, I'm playing two dynasties at this time (Rays, Dodgers), I try to play a Dinasty in 2K9 (Phillies) but I get bored easily, too many errors by the outfielders....

Ya the game just isn't the same without the high graphics. It's so amazing when it is on high though. I haven't played it for awhile but I really love it. MVP is a close 2nd . Toleton
I was playing MVP 2005 (and still I am with all 08 mods updates), when this 2k9 fever arrived at the beggining of this year. My son brought me the 2k9 and I tried for sometime, but even though all dazzling graphics and ambience, the baseball mechanics and all the real things around a baseball game are very low, so I returned back to my MVP customized with all good updates I find and those made by myself and still running dinasties with my Braves. evil1182
I played more MVP than 2K9 this year. 2K9 doesn't have that real feel for me. I have more intense, realistic games in MVP.
DeuceBlades
I just got an XBOX and the Show. However, I still play MVP because of the modding aspect. I can get downloaded rosters for the show along with stadium mods, but I cant get modded unis. I think the playability of the show is lacking, considering how easy MVP is to play. The Show is smoother as far as player motion is concerned, but overall MVP is still my favorite title. I am giving the show a chance, I play it, and it is a nice title, but waiting on next years version to see if it gets improved or if its another one of those titles like Madden for PC, where they just shove the same old crap in your face. Slash726
I play MVP 05 exclusively. I like how there are lots of mods for it. I have all of the 08 mods and 09 unis. I would like to thank everyone that has put work into modding this game.
wrigleyville33
the show exclusively, mvp is finally outdated now with the graphics and gameplay engine.
crowther
Exclusively MVP 05 (08) and classics.
elfdutch
Mvp 05, with the 08 mod and the 1994 mod. No other baseball game can give me that baseball feeling. I tried 2k9 on my laptop, eye candy all the way. But something is really lacking in gameplay. On the other hand mvp is also eye candy when you use the resolution changer. I'm playing mine in 1440 x 900 and its stunning. If only EA got their liscense back to make pc games. They could remake mvp05 with the current graphics. Thats basically all it needs. Maybe some new motion capture for infielders diving at grounders (i dont like it when they are on their bellies with their legs up). The diving for linedrives or outfielders diving in general is still looking great! I have a dream......
