cb
I really hope that isn't the box art. It looks horrible.
five
It looks to me like they are trying to capture the 'hitters eye' in the picture of Manny.
Trues
I really don't care what the cover looks like as long as it's a good game. btw...welcome back five :)
Yankee4Life
That's true. I don't care if a Red Sox guy is on the cover. I just want the game to be worth the wait and worth playing.

SolidWing68
very creative... hey, just add a gradient to that background or whatever, add some filters and what not and you got yourself a great box cover. Something I was thinking about doing when I got my mvp was making my own dvd version so if u wanna install the game again you dont gotta swap cd1, cd2, etc..you just need that 1 dvd that has the cds on it, you just need macromedia director to create the menu and such. I get this idea because someone on a different forums website made a topic about they were doing that with there half life 2.

Chickybomag14
It looks to me like they are trying to capture the 'hitters eye' in the picture of Manny. Yea five really hit on it i think. Its all about the "hitter's eye" but i do agree with everyone about the it looking tight. I loved the 2004 cover a lot with Pujols. The 2003 cover was eh, ok i guess. SolidWing68
Update..This looks like to be the PC Box Cover, coming from gamestop, ebgames and amazon. (Both ebgames and gamestops sizes of the photo were small and amazon's was larger)

Another good thing to add onto the DVD would be an additional install program for all the mods you want to have. That way, if you need to reload your system or something, you don't need to track down everything all over again when you go to install MVP.
