wow, that Ortiz one is just sick, send it to ea so they can learn something, is that really the official cover?? I expected more, then just make manny look like he's too fat to be on the cover, its horrible

Yea thats really the offical cover, ebgames.com has it showing for xbox, ps2, gamecube, and pc just a mock as they call it. But that really does look bad

It looks to me like they are trying to capture the 'hitters eye' in the picture of Manny.

good point.....last year it was the "pure swing system" this year its the "hitters eye" so taht why it could be a closeup

very creative...

hey, just add a gradient to that background or whatever, add some filters and what not and you got yourself a great box cover. Something I was thinking about doing when I got my mvp was making my own dvd version so if u wanna install the game again you dont gotta swap cd1, cd2, etc..you just need that 1 dvd that has the cds on it, you just need macromedia director to create the menu and such. I get this idea because someone on a different forums website made a topic about they were doing that with there half life 2.

Yea five really hit on it i think. Its all about the "hitter's eye" but i do agree with everyone about the it looking tight. I loved the 2004 cover a lot with Pujols. The 2003 cover was eh, ok i guess.

Another good thing to add onto the DVD would be an additional install program for all the mods you want to have. That way, if you need to reload your system or something, you don't need to track down everything all over again when you go to install MVP.
