peterosefan
I'm using a Logitech rumble pad controller (which is basically the same thing as the Madcatz Xbox controller) and I can't seem to be able to get my outfielders the climb the fence to pull a homer back in or to get my fielders to dive for a ball. Anybody know how ???

Anybody know how ??? Use a 4-yr old plain 'ole Logitech Controller myself. Default control config. Use Button #1 for Diving/Climbing Walls. To climb the walls and try to rob a homerun, it's more about the timing. I've robbed one in my dynasty. *Also, seems to be a config issue between the Rumble Pad & MLB 2K. There are several discussion threads on the boards about the issue, just run a keyword search. Good luck.

Although, I think I've tried the every button on the controller and nothing seems to work. Maybe operator error, who knows ? I'll let you know. Thanks again ! cjs007
It's all about timing. I used to have a hard time too, at first, now i can make all the amazing plays in the out-infield. Listen, i used to bash this game at first because i didn't understand the momentum part. Remember MOMENTUM! If you hold the axis stick in the direction that you are running, WHEN YOU THROW, it will be a sweet play. If you let go of the axis stick, then throw, it will be a SET throw to first. Same in outfield. You can't throw to first until your player is ready. Some players are better fielders to. If you are charging a ball and off balance, throwing to first is going to be less accurate. Time it so your player can make a good throw to first. Same thing in the outfield.
