RonBurgundy
And they SERIOUSLY overdid it with the batter swing after trying to pull an outside pitch. Jeez, they made batters spin in 50 directions, fall, and trip all over the place. I know mis-pulling an outside pitch makes for an uncomfortable swong, but come on, EA made it look 10 times as bad as it is in real life.
NYM
i admit they should have made it less "intense" of a swing.

RonBurgundy
EA are idiots. Every time they come up with something new, they OVERDO it. Last year, Big Play controls = EVERYBODY's a Gold Glover and we all get robbed of base hits by guys like Manny Ramirez or Jose Valentin 10 times a game...Total Bulls**t This year, Swing Reaction = The batters screw themselves into the ground and trip and fall by trying to reach out for a pitch...More bulls**t Possibly this year, First Baseman throwing to pitcher who is covering first = So far every damn video shows the first baseman throwing to the pitcher even if he (1Bman) is closer to the bag. Last year, it tokk half an hour for pitchers to get to the bag, so we just ran over with our 1Bmen. This year, apparently, the CPU 1Bman is gonna flip it to the Pitcher all the time, making it stupidly unrealistic...But we'll see how this turns out... RonBurgundy
Hey, for a big corporation, EA is a bunch of lazy f***ers. Each year I hope they fix the game, and each year they disappoint. And no other company lasts long enough to develop a good game because EA is monopolizing the hell out of the MLB games market...
Kccitystar
There's the sleeper MLB 2006 from 989, and then there's ESPN. If you honestly believe that EA is lazy, explain to me what was so bad about the series since it first began in 2003.
RonBurgundy
The glitches, and EA's inexplicable "inability" to fix simple glitches...Also, they have the same crappy stadium models for three years now... Also, like I said, when EA comes up with somethign new, they severely overdo it.

We don't need that kind of language around here either. if you don't like the game, don't buy it. it is that simple.
MarkB
Donut, please choose your words more carefully. I've had to edit 5 posts because of your choice of words. And if you don't like the game, don't buy it, but let others make their own decision. Apologies to anyone who saw the posts by Donut before I edited them. WindyCHC165
hey i couldnt find the forum for mvp 2005 offseason. Does anyone know any new features for the offseason in '05?? like arbitration, more than 7 weeks of off-season, better drafting, more signings, multi teams trying to aquire a player and stuff. WindyCHC165
also after regular season games, if a player had an amazing day, are there news reports saying like what an amzing day he had?? something like "Patterson had an amazing day today, going 5 for 5 with 3 homeruns 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored to edge the cardinals 10-9 in a thriller" something like that
