redsox
I thought we had a no-hitter thread, but never could find it. Anyway, after playing this game 3+ years, I have finally been able to throw a no-hitter; albeit an unique one. In the middle of the no-hitter, I lost my starting pitcher (Wade Miller) to injury but luckily, Alan Embree and Mike Timlin were able to throw 2.1 hit-less innings to complete the no-hitter. It would have been even sweeter if I had thrown the no-hitter with my starter, but hey it counts! BTW, I lost Wade Miller to a toe injury and will actually miss extended time (25 days to be exact). CircleChange11
Wow! ... all "houston astrosesque". Great job. I have yet to throw a no-no in2 decades of video games. I'm like the Bucanneers and a lack of KO return for a TD. They broke their streak, maybe I will too someday.
JoeRudi26
Congrats, redsox. In all my years of playing baseball video games, I've still yet to throw a no hitter. Maybe next year. :drinks:
redsox
Believe it or not, I think Miller getting injured actually increased the chance of me getting that no-hitter. With Miller, I was pitching with no green area in the pitch-meter and usually when that happens I am bound to give up a few hits here and there. Sure did make for a very interesting match-up though. Luckily, I was able to finally to get it done.
