mooseknucks
So Allen Iverson didn't like being an off the bench role player (no surprise here) and took some "personal time" that encited Memphis to terminate his contract .. "mutually". I feel like we're going to get your typical dramatic AI interview where AI claims to be the victim. He's really tamed his personality over the past few yrs. I just don't think he's ready to hang 'em up just yet, I still think he's got a lot to offer. Honestly, I'd love to see the Knicks get him for the remainder of the season and have a team option for next season based on performance. On paper the Knicks look like they should be winning some games. They're not. They lack the starpower required late in games to close a game out. I don't think the fans can sit thru this entire season losing games in the 4th quarter. If they get Iverson and let him run free in the 4th and do what he does, I think they'll contend for at least the 8th seed in the East. What do they have to lose?
