Any clue to what it will be? You think somehow EA secretly got the MLB license back and is planning a new MLB game? I know I'm dreaming, but what else could be so big that they started this hype about?

That would be amazing

but I don't think it's a baseball game.

Id cut off my right leg to have a brand new EA PC baseball game.

Heck, id give up the left leg too.

Something I was just reading...

Or, the hardway four on this crapshoot, the return of MVP Baseball. 2K Sports still has the exclusive Major League Baseball license into 2012, but given Take Two Interactive's pointed remarks last week, they would probably love to get that millstone off their necks. MLB 2K10 announced its cover athlete, so we're not talking about this year. But the tweet only said an announcement of a new game, not the time when it is released.

LINK

If you follow the link, and go to the link they provide talking about "Take Two Interactive's pointed remarks", you will see they are blaming a lot of their current issues on the failure of their baseball game.

EA Sports have announced that they’re going to announce a new game in January, but won’t tell us what just yet. Rumor has it that this new ventures. will be professional wrestling once again. More specifically they could be taking on the WWE brand when THQ’s license runs out at the end of 2009.

The fact that THQ are to lose the WWE license certainly gives this rumor a bit more merit than it would have. The idea has been banded about in the past, with nothing ever coming from it. Could 2010 be the year that EA Sports, once again, becomes the home of sports entertainment? I guess we’re gonna have to wait until January to find out.

Will the Tiger Woods game have additional holes as an unlockable feature?

B)

lol, with the way the endorsements, etc. have been flying out the window, you would think Nintendo would pass on something like this too. I don't have a stance on it either way, what Tiger does in his spare time is his own business, I just wanted a new MVP baseball game.  :sorry:
