SpaceFlare
Some of you have probably encountered this problem before. I've had it before and I managed to have it fixed but somehow, I've forgotten how to fix it now that I've installed it MVP on a new computer. So the problem is this, when I'm pitching to lefty batters and there's a runner on first, the pitch meter is obstructed, making it impossibly hard to hit the sweet spot on the pitch, which leads to run explosions for the CPU whenever I play and they manage to get a runner on first. Yankee4Life
I may be able to help you with this. Other people have mentioned the same thing on occasion and I believe there may be a patch for this over at EAmods. I wish I could tell you where it is over there because I couldn't find it. kado456
You need to adjust the pitch meter location via the Ingame.big file. The pitch meter placement is located in the fes_ingameoverlay.fel file. There are 3 lines that appear twice on lines 174-176 and again on lines 182-184. You need to change the x & y coordinate in each set respectively. I've provided an example below; the third number in is the x coordinate (i.e. 355). The number immediately after that is the y coordinate (i.e. 235). SH:BGCOLOR,1,0,355,235,100,100,1,1,1,1,6,BPP2,BPP2,1,0,0,255,0,100,1,-1,0,1,0,0,0,0 SH:FILLCOLOR,1,0,355,235,100,100,1,1,1,1,6,BPP3,BPP3,1,0,0,255,0,100,1,-1,0,0,0,0,0,0 SH:OUTLINE,1,0,355,235,100,100,1,1,1,1,1,BPP1,BPP1,1,0,0,255,0,100,1,-1,0,1,0,0,0,0 Extract the fes_ingameoverlay.fel from the ingame.big file, I use BIGUI.exe, edit the .fel file with a text editor then import back into ingame.big. The X & Y coordinates are sensitive, so you may have to play around with it for a minute. Hope this helps.
Jim825
If you are using the behind-the-pitcher view (view 6), you want Trues' pitch meter fix. You can download it here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=3820
