SeanRobinson
Hi all--I have a nice MVP '08 dynasty going on on my old computer that I'd like to keep going on my new machine. How do I do this? I assume I can simply copy the dynasty save file from my old computer and load it up onto this new computer, but that doesn't take care of the mods--how can I make sure that all of the modded files get over here as well? I'd prefer not to have to go through and download each one individually all over again, especially since some of them might no longer be available here. Any ideas? Any ideas? try putting your files on to a disk, or a usb drive, and then just put them on your new computer i had to do this awhile back and this is the easyest way but i gusses you could email the files to yourself and that could work too
MarkB
Just copy the MVP Baseball 2005 (or corresponding folder for the '08 mod, MVP 08 or something similar) from the My Documents folder, and copy your MVP '08 install directory, probably in C:\Program Files, to your new drive, or to a temporary location, like a USB drive or external hard drive, then copy them to the same folders on your new system. The folder in My Documents holds your controller configs and synasty save files, whereas the install folder contains the actual game files - rosters, cyberfaces, portraits, datafiles etc., as well as the actual MVP2005.exe file. Or, if you have other data to transfer as well and both systems are currently running, just put them both onto a network, share the hard drives and copy directly from one system to the other. LetsGoFish2015
I am having a similar problem. I just got a new computer, HP 2009m. It has Windows 7 on it, and I am having a hard time getting MVPEDIT to work. Also, I can't get the portraits and faces to show up right. I think it may be a 32/64-bit problem.
