New 2010 MiLB team logos by Toleton

Version 1.0

31 December 2009

Greetings in New Year 2010. Following the lead of Paul's .LOC updates, we made the logos for the announced new MiLB teams. Hard to find good logo's pictures (as usual) but finally we did our best.

This version includes logos changes in the following teams:

- Richmond Flying Squirrels, AA Div affiliated to SF (l065.fsh)

- Bradenton Marauders, A Div affiliated to PIT (l120.fsh)

For installation follow instructions in Readme.txt included in the packages. The only thing left are the unis, so let´s see if some unis specialist can contribute voluntarily to complete the update....... Best regards for all

Now that Bradenton is the Pirates FSL team are the Reds going to be using the Hillcats? Are they going to change their name or anything? Are there any others teams that are switching affiliates this year?

All signs point to them keeping the Hillcat name, but nothing has been said either way officially.

According to the search I made for the logos, the Pirates and Reds made an affiliate swap, so in return for the Sarasota Reds becoming the Bradenton Marauders, the Reds have now the Pirates' former High-A affiliate Lynchburg Hillcats. Do not know if there are any other changes in MiLB

It's been awhile since I've went in and changed affiliates in MVP but I'll look into it tonight when I get home from work. It's pretty easy to do but I'll have to do a search for instructions just to refresh my memory.

I searched for but couldn't find the guide that I needed so can someone please tell me if this is right?

Open up MVP database

Open org.dat with Wordpad

Change Pittsburgh's #4 team for Cincinnati's #4 team

Save and close

Then use MVP Edit to move the players

I just want to make sure before I screw something up. If I have already started a dynasty do I have to wait until I start a new dynasty to see the changes? Thanks for any help.

No real clue about the rest of it, but I'd use Notepad instead of Wordpad - Notepad is basic text editing, Wordpad can add stuff that will cause problems in a third-party text file - formatting and stylistic references, for example.

I have the org.dat that has the affilate switch; as for the dynasty, it will not be updated for that since you started the dynasty with the old org.dat - if you start a new dynasty with the new org.dat, the changes will take effect - I can upload the org.dat if you guys need me to, but it was just a quick notepad edit and off you go!
