ChrisS
As many o us say it can be the little things that seperates one game from another. Such as a working scoreboard, as I stated earlier. I saw Fenway on ESPN and the Sox logo on the field was magnificent. However there wasn't one in MVP screens. Also I hope there are morer times o day to play. And maybe the pitcher won't have 100 balls stufed in his pockets so the catcher won't have to throw them back.
MarkB
If the game is perfect in every other way, with perfect gameplay, a realistic amount of walks, a good interface and everything is perfect, but the catcher doesn't throw the ball back to the pitcher and the stadiums are terrible, would you buy this game? Bear in mind that the stadiums can be edited by modders.
Emil
If the catcher would throw the ball back to the pitcher a game would take decades!
schitonk
... but the catcher doesn't throw the ball back to the pitcher... would you buy this game? Bear in mind that the stadiums can be edited by modders. they've had 3 years to put this in and it's been in baseball video games for years now. it would not slow down the game that much. instead of the pitcher turning around and walking back to the mound, have them walk backwards up the mound while the ball is thrown, like in the All-Star series. i couldn't care less about how stadiums look. it (the ball not being thrown back to the pitcher) won't prevent me from buying it but combined with a buggy release like last year that should have never made it out of beta testing, maybe. though it's the bugs that are ultimately the deciding factor. KerryW
If the catcher would throw the ball back to the pitcher a game would take decades! They actually had this in several baseball games, and the game still goes very quickly and smoothly...Still, this is just another one of those things that we can easily live without. MarkB
I wouldn't say it would add extensive amounts of time to the game in general. I think, over a whole game, it would amount to only about a minute extra, if that. But I agreee with KKKerry, it's one of the things that I, personally, could live without and would rather they spent time on other things.
theoricle11
I think it would be great if when you played a game during the day, it would get darker as the game goes on. I once played a game that took 18 innings and it was still light out! weather effects could be improved as well.
MarkB
Weather changes would be a higher priority for me than the catcher throwing back the ball, but even that is pretty low on the list for me. I'm more concerned with the gameplay. If the gameplay is 100% perfect and they have some free time before the game is scheduled to be released, then by all means, add these things in. If it means time that could be devoted to gameplay is being spent creating weather effect, though, I would be slightly annoyed.
ChrisS
Of course I will buy it. I never said I wouldn't. I know modders can do stadiums as well. However many of these things can seperate a good game from a bad one.

NYM
if you squint your eyes it will get rid of that "compurterized" look and it looks like a real picture! <<<<BAM
MarkB
Fenway does look pretty good, but what's the EA obsession with only playing at dusk in Fenway? Weird.
