andy82
I would recommend not to bother with portraits because of the amount of time that it would take to produce 3,050 of them, especially if there isn't a large amount of people willing to do them. cococrispy
What are you going to do with the rosters? Like, is there some website that shows the rosters of these teams? Also, for the batting ratings, would you use some kind of batting calculator?

cococrispy
the teams websites have the roster i think that the calculators that dylan made would work good Also, how would we condense it to 25 players (the limit)? And I was thinking that dylan's calculators would be good as well.

Most purists may hate what I'm going to suggest, but I'm going to suggest it. Basically, take the teams combined stats, then assign them to the players in that team and adjust accordingly to each position, but maintaining the same average. It wouldn't make the individual players accurate, but it would at least maintain the teams strength.

andy82
i was thinking we just do it by playing time, but that runs into the freshman problem thats not a bad idea The only then would be is to set weighted stats on particular conferences, for example, LSU won the CWS last year but only rated 78th in BA (.315) whilst New Mexico came 1st (.363). I don't have a good knowledge of NCAA Baseball, but from being a big NCAA Football fan, I'd presume that competition within the SEC is much tougher than the MWC, and I doubt the Lobos would put up that kind of stats within the SEC. kado456
rroy0824, if you're interested I can extract the team uniforms from "MVP 06 NCAA Baseball" for the Xbox. while the unis are not the overall quality of the PC unis, maybe you can use them as a template or something. If you're interested let me know. By the Way you should include the "BCU Wildcats" Shameless Plug.

Are all the textures have the same look as the uniforms found in MVP 05 (Seperate files for each part of the unis)?

SeveredSoulX
The rosters should be done based on who is going to play in that position for most, if not all, of the season. I know most teams do not have an all-freshman lineup, nor do they have an all-senior lineup. I think a mixture of the two would be best. So we should TRY to have approx. 6 of each class with the exception of the freshman, which will have 7 - so if we do this as a yearly thing (I know, thinking long term goals haha) we could just shift everyone up one year, drop the worse freshman, and make 7 more guys per team instead of trying to redo the WHOLE ROSTER each year. And for ratings, DylanBradbury's ratings has been great for me, so they will work for this - he put blood sweat and tears into trying to perfect these ratings, and it shows by his authenticity. And sorry to the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, but since the MEAC league is not AS BIG as the other 12, I did decide to leave it off, but if I had my way, I would put a few other leagues in there besides them spesky SEC and PAC teams haha

kado456
They're not the same roy. I have them extracted and the format is different. Yeah, it's a different texture, but I figure they would be a good reference point. I figured maybe they could be converted into grayscaled and rebuilt back up in a better texture. I also included a 'Nxshtool" and a version of "Fshed" that I hex edited so you can view the ".xsh" files before you extract the ones you want. cococrispy
I could *maybe* help with the rosters. It is just repetitive, right? Like, can you tell me the process of creating one player? Would I go to a team's website, find statistics for that player, then put it for that player on MVPEdit?

However, do you have an aim? If so, I can pm you mine and we can discuss it. I probably already know how to do the roster stuff, but I would just like it if you maybe told me how you would like me to do it (on aim). I am sometimes busy, but I could do this in my spare time. Can be done either way, but I can't find any resource that has all team stats that are required for Dylan's calculators anyway. And if we do use Dylan's calc's, then what league level will be used for the ratings? Do we do weighted within MLB/AAA/AA/A or do the ratings based on the level of the conference (Eg. The Best Conferences using MLB, Weakest using A)?
rroy0824
or do the ratings based on the level of the conference (Eg. The Best Conferences using MLB, Weakest using A)? that may be the best way to do it, as for the freshman and not being able to find the stats, this may be more work, but we could just take the player stats add them out and average them out and get team stats and use that. it may be more work but it sounds like it could work
