I still don't get the premise of the yellow area in the pitch meter though...what exactly is that for? Also, batters don't ALWAYS spin out like that when they foul off a pitch... Again EA with the overdoing. God I hope they fix this crap before they ship it... If you hate this game so much you might as well just watch baseball on TV. You seem to fail to understand that it is a VIDEO GAME. It may not be a perfect simulation of what you play in real life or what you see on TV but video game companies try to perfect a sport that is very very hard to replicate. Baseball is a mind game. It is a cat-mouse game. It is a game of strategy. This game is basically a 3 year plan, so after this year, I'm assuming they'll do some sort of cleansing, meaning they'll remove the crap people play less frequently and add the stuff that matters. Maybe graphics weren't an issue this year. This year they've been focusing on gameplay and they are trying to replicate exactly what a person would see on television. It may not be the best presentation in the world, but in my case, in KC's eyes, I don't give a damn if windows are missing in MVP. I could care less if the huge *** scoreboard at Shea is missing. That's like whining over Kobe Bryant not having the right shoe in NBA Live, or saying that Derek Jeter's index finger is not exactly proportionate. GTFOH with that mess. Either you like the game, or you rent it, or you don't like it. Changes of that magnitude will not happen anymore. Future Patches will also most likely concentrate on game/graphics glitches. They got the right movement for A-Rod, but in the video, the bat drops where it would for Manny, and Alex finishes off his walk-off, carrying air in his hand instead of a bat. I can't beleive I'm the only person who noticed it, but we can all agree that looks just plain stupid... There might be a game that comes around that might just be a damn near excellent replica of the sport, but what EA needs to do for the next few years is just get rid of the fancy mumbo jumbo and just stick to the basics. Oh and Donut, The only thing that is available to download on LIVE and PS2 Online is roster updates. No animation fixes there...which is why me loves the PC.
