RonCey10
Hi, I have a question regarding moving teams within a division. I want to move the Dodgers with the Padres. Is there an easy way to to do this? The reason why I want to move the Dodgers with the Padres is because the Padres Unis have the players names on the back of the uniforms. The Dodgers do not and what I understand there is no way to change it because the Dodger uniforms in MVP 05 are hard-coded. if anybody could help me, I would appreciate it. Thanks
emath2432
Pretty sure you can't do this. I am no expert though, so I could be wrong, but I have never heard of it being possible..
grmrpr1313
If you just want to change the number scheme on the jersey. Sometimes I am able to copy over another .fsh number file and then just rename it and edit the color if need be and then I just go into EAGraph and then it will sometimes work in the game. Hope this helps.

Thanks There's no reason you can't do this, but it is a lot of work just to get names to show up. You'd have to do the following: 1. Export the Dodger and Padres rosters with MVPEdit and then re-import them into their new positions (i.e. Import Dodgers to Padres and Padres to Dodgers) 2. Export all Dodger and Padres uniforms from the models.big file, rename them and then reimport them. 3. Do the same thing for the uniform previews in the uniforms.big file. 4. Edit the Dodger name and Padres names in the .LOC files with LOCLook (change Dodgers to Padres and vice versa) 5. Swap stadiums in the data \ frontend folder by renaming the Dodger Stadium files to have Petco Park names and the Petco Park files to have Dodger Stadium names 6. Export the stadium select screens from stadiums.big, rename them, and reimport them. 7. Edit the team name and stadium name audios so that the proper team name and stadium names are announced As you can see, this is a considerable amount of work. Can it be done? Sure. Is it really worth it just to see names on the back of the jerseys? That's up to you......

I'm getting into the Total Classics 1988 season and I want to use the Dodger uniform from that era. I'll probably use Colorado or Arizona as a swap team since they didn't exist at that time. RonCey10
you might find this file helpful for the uniforms part. Homer, according to your uniforms slots list, you can add the Dodger player names in the back in the slots D through H. Have you tried putting the names? Please let me know if this works. Thanks
Homer
yes i have, which is how i came up with the spreadsheet. those slots will have names on the back of you install the font files (f files). if you don't know what i'm talking about, check out these threads. they tell you everything there is to know about uniforms. http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=12410 http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=33903 http://www.eamods.com/index.php/View-details/Uniforms/1176-Uniform-Creation-Tutorial-v1.0.html
