Sean O
Ok, I definitely like to be fully in control of my player, since games don't seem to have any concept of reality when it comes to my player modes. How many players start off as perfectly equal in every way, and then learn how to throw 100 mph like Verlander or steal like Carl Crawford? Screw that; let's cheat. SAVE YOUR PLAYER TO A BACKUP BEFORE TRYING ANYTHING HERE. I nor the site is responsible for your player getting wiped out or your computer exploding. 1). Download ArtMoney: http://www.artmoney.ru/e_download_se.htm 2). Once it is installed, open MLB 2k10 if it isn't already. Go to the skill points page in My Player, and make a note of exactly how many skill points you currently have. You will need more than 0 for this to work. Then hit alt+tab to switch of MLB 2k10. 3). Open up ArtMoney. Next to "Select Process", select MLB 2k10. 4). Click the "Search" button, and change the exact value to the number of skill points you currently have. You need not change any other part. Click ok to run the search (this could take a bit depending on your comp. speed) 5). There should be a ton of results on the left-side box. Now go into MLB 2k10 and spend some skill points. Doesn't matter how many, just spend some, and make sure you commit the points to your player. Make a note of how many skill points you now have. 6). Click on the "Filter" button, and enter in your new skill point total, and click ok. 7). This should return 3 values. My belief is that only the middle result actually changes the number of points, but for safety's sake change all 3. Click the green (bottom) right arrow to move the 3 entries to the edit window. Type a new value for all 3, like 999999, which will be your new skill point total. So, what I did was boost my skill point total to some huge amount, then gave every pitch I had maximum velocity, then I boosted Stamina to 90. Then I changed the values in artmoney back to 0, so I'd begin earning skill points as usual to progress. Good Luck.

Sean O
Not that I've discovered, because you're just modifying my player-only memory values.

Sean O
for us dumbos like me, could you please tell us after you change the number what you do. "load" "Save" what do you save it as? I have no idea. thanks. Nothing really, you just change the number by typing it and hitting enter. I don't bother with load and save at all, because the values where the data is stored likely keep changing.
hackman2007
I tried the save and load thing, doesn't seem to do much. Also, anyone that has used this method, do you only get two of the entries showing up instead of three when in the major leagues?

Digital_Utopia
I practiced this method before coming across this topic (lot of experience with Art Money ), nice job Sean on posting this. Just a simple tip to tack on to an otherwise great tutorial: The points for each category are stored as 4-bit Integers, so if you want to cut down on your results the 2nd time through, click the little "browse" button ([...]) next to where it says (by default) "Integer (All)". This will bring up a small window with a collection of check boxes by various integer sizes. Uncheck all of those except for Integer 4-bit, and hit OK. Then, just go with the rest of the tutorial - if at any time throughout your filtering, there's only a single 4-bit Integer result (with the rest being 1-bit or 2-bit etc), that would be the one you're looking for - select it by clicking on it, and click the red arrow (this arrow only moves the selected result)
SultanofSwat
Hi - thanks for this great tool. Having a problem. When I get to the step where I have spent some points and committed them to my player, I click Filter, put in the new total and it returns nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks!
