Gordo
I didn't see an impressions thread for the full game, so here's my synopsis: I'll try to be brief: Playing as the Rangers (home) against the Cardinals. Lost 1-0 on all-star default to a solo shot by Pujols in the 8th. Suspect pitch to put out, but not a horrible HR (I'll try to UL it later to 2K). Had 4 singles and K'd 7x. Struck out 12 Cards who had 6 or 7 hits. Pitch count was in low 100's for both teams. My K% was mid-60's and cpu's was low 70's. The Good: *Double plays look and feel pretty nice *The defensive swing comes in handy sometimes *The cpu took a walk *Spray of the ball was pretty decent *BR speed is pretty good on this level *Decent cam selections for pitching and batting *Nice underhand toss throw animation *Make a mistake pitch and it'll get hit The Bad: *Cannon arms *Throw meter seems useless (though I could care less about it) *A few throwing animations that make you go wtf *The camera sitting on the dead foul ball excessively long *The cut scene for the RP coming in from the pen is almost laughable *No manual throwing the ball around after an out *Throwing on the run almost always results in pushing off the wrong foot *No check swing as of yet The Ugly: *No fielding cam options *No fielding cam options *No fielding cam options! ---- and what's there on a gapper is brutal. MilkmanAnt
daflyboys...I have a question that I've been getting mixed answers... During an at bat, is there automatic skipping after a pitch? Or is it still like 2k9?
Gordo
I didn't have 2K9 (once I read the reviews), but there is an option for quick play, if that's what you mean.

K check out 2:08 of this vid See how after the pitch the camera wanders around between pitches. In 2k10 videos, I never see that. It's always skipping to the next pitch. SeaTrane
When you are pitching and hitting its like hurry up is always on even when you have it turned off. No panning, no scanning, no walking around the mound, you're there to pitch damnit...Git r done!
Gordo
...Git r done! God please let that die with "wassssuuuupppp". I can do w/o the walking around the mound. If you don't skip through the batters' routines stepping into the box for each pitch, it puts a nice pace to the game. Any more and you wouldn't be able to finish a 9 inning game in under 75 mins. The one I played took about 45.
