Face List For Total Classics Phase 10

Is there a face ID list out there for the Total Classics Phase 10? I came across a tool a few years ago that was able to create a .txt file that listed all of the face IDs, but I can't remember the name of the tool (nor can I find it). If anybody could point me to that tool, that would be just as good as a face list.

Thanks in advance!

You can find out all of the ID's using Microsoft Excel. Here's how:

1. Go to the data \ database folder (where the rosters are stored)

2. Make a copy of the attrib.dat file and name it attrib.csv

3. Open the attrib.csv file with Microsoft Excel

4. Column L (which has the header label "11 playerattrib_face2004style") contains the face ID's

Ignore the fact that the header label is incorrect. If you look at the numbers in the column, you will see lots of numbers in the range 901 - 915, which are the generic face ID's.

You can then sort the file however you want - by last name, by face ID, etc. If you sort by face ID (i.e. column L), you will be able to easily see all of the non-generic face ID's.

To make it easier for you, I've attached a file that contains a sorted list of all of the faces in TC10 created from the attrib.dat file.

Thank YOU, Jim. This is exactly what I needed. Also, thanks for teaching me how to do it. You know what they say about teaching a man how to fish (as opposed to just giving me the fish). Thanks again!

Glad to help. You can also follow a similar process if you ever need to get a list of player portrait / audio ID's (the same ID is used for both portrait and audio). This information is also stored in the attrib.dat file. You would just sort on the playerattrib_photo column (column S, I believe).
