Quit And Save Game

I ran into something today. I had quit and saved a game this morning, went back to play it this afternoon and the gamepad was like dead. Ended up simming the rest the game. Anyone else come across this? When I started up the game I was pitching but the gamepad wouldn't let me pick a pitch or nothing.

May be the little bug that I have experienced in other areas. Occasionally, such as when I'm working on trades and such, it will for some reason switch my controls from gamepad to keyboard. I've never had it happen in a game, but I've had it happen when I was about to start a game and noticed that my profile was over the keyboard underneath the Reds and my game pad was in the middle as player 2.

In that situation, I had to back out and go back in and it was fixed. When it happens on the menus, I go into one of the menus that lets you toggle pad and keyboard and change it there. As far as in a game, I would surmise that you may be able to go to the controller select screen and straighten it out there. Now, whether your profile would change as well, I don't know.

I know its not much help, but that's the only experience I've had with that sort of thing.Were you actually able to access the menus and such with the gamepad, or did you do that via the keyboard? If that's the case, I would suspect its the same issue.

Went back into a saved game and my X360 controller is not recognized...No matter what button or stick I try, there is no response. I also had trouble getting back to a menu. Finally when I did get to the menu screen I had to sim the rest of the game.

This has happened the two times I saved a game.

Also, when I do complete a game, then go to start another game, I suddenly become player 1 and I am the CPU.

Don't understand what the problem is since the X360 worked perfectly with 2k9.

Yep, it happened again to me this morning. Evidently you have to play the games completely out, no way of saving them. This is a bad bug they need to fix.

Maybe its just luck of the draw (or I got really lucky), because I did save a game yesterday and was able to complete it. I will take this under advisement, however. Man, thought they had included a really nice feature there, but I think I'll wait to use until it can be confirmed that it's not a minefield.
