komikozibob
I seem to be having a problem with diving or jumping. The controls are not clear at all as to what button to use. The controller config screen says to use the D button, but when I try this all it does is preload a throw to second. The manual says use the RT (right trigger i'm assuming). This does nothing when I hit it. So I am at a loss. I am using a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thanks in advance. Norag
I share your confusion, mate. I'm using an X-Box controller and get the same thing. I have see the wall climb option pop up and say button 3 (which I believe corresponds to D) but have had zero luck with that as well. Kinda frustrating since I've had at least a half a dozen singles get by because I couldn't dive. If I find anything out when I'm playing later tonight, I'll be sure to post. komikozibob
Norag, I did just figure out the diving side of it. R1, but it has to be way before the ball gets there. The animation is very slow. I haven't tried jumping yet. So I will let you know also if I find anything on that.
Norag
Sweet, I'll just have to figure out which of my buttons are technically R1. On my controller, two of the buttons that would be up top on a Playstation style controller are actually below the four main buttons. At least the right side one operates as my Check base/pick to base button. Can't recall ever having used the left one. Up top I have two triggers that advance/retreat runners and hit the cut-off man. So I guess my next question is what other actions does the one that dives for you control? That would probably tell me which one it is, as it seems that buttons are grouped across the control categories of fielding ect. Thanks for the info, bro. komikozibob
The one that retreats the individual runner. works good now. still haven't had to jump for one yet. I am playing My Player mode though, so there are not that many opportunities at 3rd base.
Norag
Yeah, on mine its actually The button I use for my pick off move. I can see where you wouldn't have much opportunity to jump, but it is supposed to be the same button. If I get a chance to use that or scale wall, I'll let you know how it works.
