tks
I try to work out problems before asking but I've had no luck...Here's the issue. When playing a non-franchise game you can go to the Minor League option screen and review all the players in your minor league system....but I can't get that to work when in franchise mode. #1...In franchise mode Minor League option screen is grayed out with no access. #2...In non-franchise mode you can review your Major league roster and look at the minors by pressing the LS (X360 controller) to play around with the minors. In franchise mode, the LS (and all other controls) do not respond. Therefore, in franchise roster mode I sent a major league player to the minors but still could not activate any affiliates...I also used the send player up/down option and sent down a major league player expecting a follow-up to add a minor player to the major roster....No luck! So I now am two players short on my major roster with no way to replace these players with affiliates. Solutions anyone?....Or am I the only one with this problem? Will be mighty proud to admit my shortcomings if someone has the answer.
Norag
Do not know the answer to your first question as I was not aware of that option, having never played a non franchise game. As far as call up/send down, I have to go to call up/send down screen and use keyboard number 4 to toggle through my major to minor league franchises. Kinda weird, but I remapped some of the keys so that is more than likely the reason. Keyboard 5 toggles the player card for me as well. If neither of these keys does it for you, I would just experiment to see which it might be. Also, when I checked the map under controller config, it said something weird like RT. Perhaps you could remap it to the press of the leftstick, or check the keyboard config and see what key it is mapped to there and see if that works. tks
Norag... You are indeed a genius! Number 4 it is!!...I tried all the numbers but concentrated on the Num Lock numbers and overlooked the numbers across the top of the keyboard. I said I would proudly announce my incompetence (actually I find it not a particularly difficult thing to do) if someone found the answer. Amazing how easy it is when you know how and how blanketedy-blank frustrating it is when you don't. Ahhh....life is good again. I thank you sir. A grateful player who now is going to get back those two lost players sent to the minors. :yahoo:
Norag
You are certainly welcome. I know what you mean about the frustration. I was getting pissed when I was trying to figure it out. Happy GM'ing! As far as the incompetence, I'm used to being reminded of that myself. I am married after all LOL :D
