Vikrant
Some people say their joystick doesn't work for drills. Click on Play Ball in main menu. Move your Player 1 or Human Controlled icon to one side of screen as if you were choosing a team. Leave other icon in middle as if playing against the CPU. Click start game, wait for 1st pitch of game, quit, don't save, and then try the drills. The bug is that the play ball screen doesn't keep your controller settings when you set them. You actually have to start a game for the controller settings to work. Hope this helps!

It saves the game ok it just won't let you play it.
Tenshi28
Also, remember that this game is so smart that if you access the drills through the keyboard pressing "enter" then it will not let you play them with your pad, only with the keyboard.
