DonSPa
wow the excitment went thru arizona tonite as a perfect game was thrown,Bad news is ,it was the d backs versus me and my pirates lol.Took a break from modding and this happens grrr.My hitting just sux in 2k10.Pitching has been great for me and most games i may give up maybe 10-12 hits and usually 3-4 runs against me but i just cant seem to get the hitting, especially power.Ive hit only 1 home run since the game had been released.I have to steal alot just to make up for the lack of power, and my starting pitcher does well and usually its the late innings that teams end up beating me in
driz14
Hey DonSpa, try doing what I did. Turn on the strike zone so you can see where the pitches are being located and what type of pitch is being thrown. Of course it depends on whose at bat to see the pitch types, but it worked wonders for me. Instead of getting just 1 or 2 hits a game, I'm actually seeing a decent game of baseball played. I was playing with the strike zone off and it was horrifying. Either I was way early or extremely late. Wish there was an option in the batting camera to change the position to offset. Always have better luck hitting in the offset view. Let me know how you make out.

It was just too slow at default setting. I've got mine at 100% and it's more realistic. Just a thought.
JoeRudi26
Ironic isn't it? 2K's primary marketing ploy to counter the fiasco last year was the fact that you could win a million dollars if you throw a perfect game. Brilliant.

MarkB
Can't you claim success because your property threw the perfect game? By the way, has anyone read the requirements for the perfect game submission to 2K? Suffice it to say, I doubt they'll have to give up a million bucks any time soon. The terms and conditions are just ridiculous. Just throwing a perfect game isn't anywhere near enough.

Are you serious? This seems like discrimination to me. I'm not living in any of those states but to not allow the entire USA is not fair. Boy, what a cheesy contest just for that alone!
MarkB
Definitely, yep, it's on the terms and conditions on the 2K website about the challenge. I don't see any reason why the challenge isn't worldwide. Are 2K so blind as to assume there are no baseball fans outside of the U.S.? What about Canada? The Dominican Republic? Cuba? Of course, there are legal reasons for it, but if 2K really cared, they could find a way to make it work. The fact is, they don't, and the challenge is nothing more than cheap promotion. Successful, nonetheless.
