I'm trying to work on my first sig, and would like some input and help through the process. I've lost a lot of my photoshop knowledge throughout my college years. Here's the basic idea for my background, which I have included in this first post.

1st order of business: blend the two pictures, allowing them to flow into each other. No clue how to do that so if anyone can help explain how to do that, I can get started. Also don't know if it would turn out good because of the difference in colors at the edges of both images.

Ok. There might be a few tutorials around but Im not sure if they tell you have to blend 2 pictures into 1. For me I cropped the part where the two pictures merged. Then, You go find motion blur and blur it to your likings. If it doesn't look merged enough, crop a bigger part of the picture with the merging line and do it again til you find the one you like.
