Choosing A Pitcher Instead Of The Computer

How do you set up a pitcher that I choose instead of the computer? For instance, I go to pitcher rotation screen and pick Jake Peavey who I want to pitch, save it then I go into the game, the computer puts John Danks in instead. How can I make who I choose show up in the game? Thx for the help.
