This issue was discussed in depth 4 or 5 years ago. Have you tried searching the forums using the terms "Choppy" or "Stuttering"? If not, you should find lots of information about this issue. Have you installed any of the patches for MVP2005? I believe that patch #2 helps with this. Also, the vsync setting on your video card may have to be adjusted.
