roadranger
i installed mvpmod'08 a couple of years ago and since then, i can't get photos to show up in mvpedit (i posted that in a different thread, but now have a completely different problem, that's why this new post). i decided to completely delete mvp baseball2005, mvpmod'08, and mvpedit and start over. i've deleted everything that i can find that has to do with mvp2005, but every time i reinstall the game and start the game, it comes up with the mvp'08 screen and i still see old files, old rosters, etc in the c:/program files/easports/mvpbaseball2005 folder. i've tried this a couple of times and was pretty sure i deleted everything, but the same thing comes up. i used a uninstaller and mvp'08 files came up and i clicked to uninstall these, but like i said, when i start the game, i still get the mvp'08 screen as my startup screen and still show tit.exe and other files in the directory mentioned above. i'd sure like some help on this as i've been wrestling this for over a month now and thought i finally had the solution by uninstalling all of these and reinstalling the game. tebjr
In your My Documents folder, do you have a EAMods MVP'08 folder?
roadranger
i've gone through all of my directories win the windows explorer and took out anything in the my documents, documents, easports, etc. i don't know what else to delete. when i install the game, i see some of my old rosters listed when i open in windows explorer. it almost makes me think these files are on the installation cd now. it also shows tit.exe etc - files that i downloaded to the folder later. i don't know why these are showing up and installing when i install the game from the cd either. it's like this mod is imbedded in the cd now. if i knew that was the problem, i'd just go out and buy a new game, but i don't want to do that and see the same thing when i install and run the game

Under my documents, you should get rid of any and all MVP folders. Then, under program files, get rid of your MVP folder, MVPedit folder, and I even have one named Kraw. If you have one, get rid of that too. Anything else in there that is MVP related should be gotten rid of as well. I have a folder for Dylan Bradbury's editors as well (though that should not be an issue if you actually have it, since it has nothing to do with the MVP 05 program at all, and is completely stand alone). The key as I see it is that you need to completely delete the EASports folder in your program files folder. The stuff that you say is still there after a reinstall all sounds like it is from that folder.
