YankeexDev
Thnxs my favorite What type of “Create-a†features can we look forward to in MVP 2005? Ben Brinkman: First, we are very excited with the addition of an all-new Owner Mode. In Owner Mode users can control just about every aspect of a baseball organization. From different promotional days, to the prices of sodas at the concession stand. The cornerstone of Owner Mode is “Create Ballparkâ€. Our Create Ballpark is a feature that we think people are going to love. It is here where players will be able to build there own stadium, from the ballpark dimensions to concession stands and everything in between. You start out small but over time you make money in Owner Mode that can be used to buy more ballpark elements to build up your stadium. The sights and sounds at a given MLB ballpark are unmistakable and therefore have to be skillfully reproduced in a title for the utmost realism. How will the pageantry surrounding any of the MLB stadiums look and sound better in MVP 2005? Ben Brinkman: To begin with, we’ve added a handful of new Minor League Stadiums, as I mentioned earlier a couple of new Cooperstown Stadiums, as well as RFK Stadium for the Washington Nationals. For all stadiums, we take into consideration how many people are shown in the stands, thus MLB stadiums will have a different sounding crowd depending on how many people are shown in the seats. Consumers will also be able to hear the difference between Minor League and MLB stadiums. We increased the number of vendor items, so you’ll be able to hear items unique to each stadium only being sold there. Vendors in Owner mode are also really cool, as they will try to sell only those items which you have stocked in your concession stand, so in this case, the consumer really can dictate which vendors they hear. We also added a bunch of new chants and heckles, as well as tweaked the logic to really make moments feel appropriate.
LetsGoOakland
Good read but a lot of it was the same as the OS interview. Including this outrageous claim that they "redid every stadium."

Just to let you know, the screens and vids that you have seen so far are not from the final version. there is still hope for them to fix that scoreboard that you so much hate. btw, just mod it to it's correct form and there will be no issue. this is mvpmods.com

Kccitystar
Dude it's in beta, they'll hit gold about a few days before release. pre-alpha development was around summer of 04 (around the time Mr. 3000 came out), alpha development was around fall of 04 heading into mid january 05. Beta development is around now.

It is pretty much in the bug-testing and possibly slight tweaking phase by now.
