Adding Uniforms?

Ok, so I'm new to 2k9 modding. Got the IFF editor, edited a bunch of uniforms already, now I'm trying to figure out how to actually add uniforms to teams, ie adding a second alternate without replacing the ones already in the game.

Also... when I play as the orioles, their road batting practice jersey doesn't show up as an option in game, however there is a road jersey in the root folder (uniform_bao_bpa) How do I get that to show up in game????
