I am sure Canadian deliveries, are part of the North American territory, after all, EA SPORTS is in Canada. Europe will get the game later, that is how it used to be, release dates unless specifically pointed out, count for North America only. NBA, NHL Hockey, etc. are usually shipped after it has been released here.
