Yankee4Life
Do hot and cold zones have an effect on human controlled players? Thanks. That's a really good question. I thought I had an answer for it but after thinking it over I'm not too sure. I got to thinking that no, they wouldn't have any affect on a human controlled player because the AI in the game can not accurately gauge the skill level of the person controlling the player and team. This is what I mean: let's say you have a player with a lot of hot zones. Well, even though he still has those hot zones you still have to hit the ball. If a live person is not that good at hitting in this game, the hot zones for each player he controls will mean nothing. But then I got to thinking more about this. These hot and cold zones are part of every players makeup. If for example the hot zone for one player is all red in the low and inside area for one batter for example, wouldn't that make it easier for someone to get a hit if the ball is pitched in that area even if it is controlled by a live person instead of the AI? This is why I can't give an answer one way or the other.
