I only use the replay to watch a funny glitches that happen. Nevermind... yep, lack of saving replays seems to be a trend in the latest EA ventures .. (nba, hockey..) Hopefully they'll put that in this year, wouldn't bet on it though. As for usefullness, some people who have the patience and/or have too much time on their hands (like moi) like to make videos of their best (& worst) plays of the year etc.. Like you can do in Armies of Exigo from EA Games (it's a RTS like Warcraft II). I saved a 2 hours game i played online with 5 other players and it's only a 38.6 KB file. So far i have saved about 30 replays and it only took 399 kb off my hard drive. The way it is in mvp2004, you can't even save your box score other than by taking a screenshot. Why? In the replays from AoE not only does it save the game but also all the stats at the end. Like who had the most units, buildings and a bunch of other stuff.
