RonBurgundy
quit your whinin'. i thought this had been settled. It hasn't. EA is pissing me off. We all KNOW they can do better, if they cared enough or wanted to.
LetsGoOakland
Last year on PS2, if you turned off the music, player editing options cycled faster, especially the numbers, stances, wind-ups.

LetsGoOakland
Like jpup said, if there isn't a classic Yankee, the mods can make one. Does anybody know how to add a stadium without replacing a pre-existing one?

LetsGoOakland
jpup would probably know..... I downloaded the Classic Yankee stadium but the file is named the same one as the current stadium and I want both. If I renamed it, I don't suppose that would do the trick? jpup
you can't add a new stadium without replacing an existing one in mvp '04, but with the new create-a-stadium, this could change this year.
LetsGoOakland
Damn, that would have been sweet. Oh yeah, I forgot. But you can't create a ballpark outside of owner mode so I don't know how you could do that for exhibition. Unless, can you make one outside of owner mode? Sean O
Donut, honey, you really are an angry human being. Maybe you should find hobbies outside of MVP Baseball, because it's obvious it's driving you to distraction. I don't think I've seen you write one positive thing about anything in your obscene number of posts. 3 more spring training parks than we had last year. We have an effect on the player progression at this point. Classic stadiums are nice, and EA doesn't have to add any more than they already have to sell copies. Sheesh. People really must think you can just snap your fingers and you have a new game. It actually does take work.

mastasports1
Who the hell cares about a classic yankee stadium...this is the Red Sox age! But that background music, TESSIE, by the Dropkick Murphys, a local rock band, was played during every red sox game, and was blasted during every game at my house. that song is the best! Tessie was the Royal Rooter's (Die hard Red Sox fans early in the 1900s) rally cry.
LetsGoOakland
It's just another option, plus if you want to use Classic Rosters, it fits better with Classic Stadiums.
cubsfaninfla
It's just another option, plus if you want to use Classic Rosters, it fits better with Classic Stadiums. Now, that is a good point to have the classic stadiums. But if there isnt a certain stadium there, Donut shouldn't [naughty word] about it. RonBurgundy
Whatever. I'm to pissed off at EA to complain. I just want a damn Classic Yankee Stadium and for them to fix the crap-assed gameplay...

RonBurgundy
But like I said, don't get pissy if they don't have a classic yankee stadium. There's no excuse for them not to have Classic Yankee Stadium. And same goes for Ebbets Field.
Sean O
Well, the simple solution then, don't get MVP 2005 if you hate the gameplay. How hard was that? Get MLB 2k5 with the hideous graphics, terrible hitting / pitching system and completely incongruous sound system. Enjoy!

Dropkick Murphys are as far from rock as you can get, they are a crappy irish punk band that people listen to because they think because they are irish they have to enjoy it
Sean O
Oh god, in one of the videos that gameguy just posted, they're saying "John Wasdin is really improving." That's like saying Hitler not killing a person is "a really kind act," great, but you still have a long way to go. There's a reason why he's called "Way back" Wasdin, he's one of the worst pitchers in the past 15 years. Any game that think he's good is obviously not any good. Though I am continually impressed by the presentation of ESPN, just not the gameplay.
