Just went to Gamestop last night folks. If you trade in any 04 version of an EA sports game, you then can get the 05 MVP for 9.99. I dumped Madden off because I thought it sucked and got myself a voucher for a 9.99 PC version of the game.

You have to trade in a 2005 EA sports game to get the $9.99 deal.

ya thats what I meant. the 05 Madden. It's resale value I think is like 12 dollars cash or something, but you get a $20 credit for it if you trade it for credit for MVP baseball. YOu have to mention it though. They got an email about it the manager told me and they knew very little about it.

I want to get the game march 1st when it first comes out just like how I got it from ea last year right on the release date. I might just order from ea so I can get it on the release date and if I order it from outpost I will get it 2-3 days after release date

I pre-ordered from EA back in January because they sent me a $15 off coupon code for my B-day...It was going to be $30.94US including shipping to Canada, which is a pretty good price...($39.95 - $15 coupon + $5.99 shipping)

On the 14th EA dropped the price on their website to $29.95, so I contacted them to ensure that they were going to honor the new price when it shipped to me (I'd end up paying $20.94)....Apparently they are not going to honor it!!!

Thanks for contacting EA Online Support.

We apologize as we cannot match other retailers' prices nor can we discount the price if the package was originally offered for a higher price.

Moreover, we are not able to edit information on an order once it has been submitted.

If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know.

Thanks for your interest in EA.

I'm just trying to find out if I'm going to be able to get it cheaper anywhere else...Fry's is listing the game at $19.99 but when I called for a shipping quote, they quoted me over $25US for shipping to Canada 8O ...at this point, as unhappy as I am with EA's policy, it looks like I'll be leaving my order as is....

Future Shop Canada added the game on their web site for pre order today.

60$ for xbox, ps2 and gamecube. No PC version yet. They are selling MVP 2004 (PC) for 30$ and NHL 2005/Madden2005 (PC) for 20$ :?

Futureshop.ca has it up on their site now for PC. Unfortunately, it still lists March 1 as the release date, and it costs 49.99. :x
