KerryW
It's Farnsworth undoubtedly...He consistently hits 100 and 101 MPH...if only he was able to improve his control, he would be even more productive than Gagne and Riveria.
fenwaypak21
Was he the hardest thrower last year?(i had asb)
pedrospecialk
Tim Wakefield. No Contest. Followed by Jamie Moyer.
pujols_7777
yeah funny u should mention it...I actually edited Moyers fastball to 99 MPH for the sheer hell of it and now his change is even more deadly (a 33 MPH difference).
pujols_7777
needless to say, I traded for him first. :D
smart88
I think Nick Neughbauer was the hardest throwing pitcher in MVP Baseball 2004.
Cubs-Blew-It-Again
Did anyone notice that in 2002 the Tigers had a pitcher named Jeff Farnsworth. Now they have another Farnsworth named Kyle. I wonder if they are related? Just something to think about on a boring, rainy day.
JaFFiTh
Speaking of Jeff Farnsworth, he's in a minor league team, for Brewers..well...as of end of last season in case you were wondering. No idea if they're related..I wouldn't be surprised if they are.
JaFFiTh
And the hard throwing...so far, seems like Kyle Farnsworth, but I think there's good pitchers coming like Boof Bonser and Aquino (not sure if they're that hard throwing but I think the scouting report somewhere mentioned Bonser hit close to 100mph)
pedrospecialk
I hear Valverde can get it up there, but I don't think he can like Julio, Bonser, Neugebauer, Aquino, Mantei, or Farnsworth can.
Kamasutra
Who are some people i should get for middle relief? I'd get Francisco Rodriguez. I've used him almost constantly in a 2nd dynasty until he became my closer EA's 2004 default ratings: 4-Seam: 96 Slider: 98 (deadly) Cutter: 80 + his contract is cheap (in the 1st year), he's fairly easy to get, he's 22 (2004) ...umm...what else, oh yeah, he's fun to pitch with.
