JoeKirby
Could you take a look of my swing and give me some positives and negatives about my swing, and also offer some tips for me, thanks so much guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xx_E4_n-VqA
Yankee4Life
Kind of hard to with such a short video but you need to always keep your eye on the ball. That's most important. You seem to step into the pitch well but like I said, it was a short video.
MarkB
Too much movement...way too much. It actually looks like you're trying to imitate someone's swing. You don't need to bring your front leg back so much in the step - it seems to be throwing you off balance. Also, in the step, along with lessening the height of the step, shorten it out. Most pitchers have less movement than that in the windup. If they can throw 90+ with less movement, you don't need all that action to make good contact. Also, stay on your back foot - not your front. You'll get better balance, more accuracy in your swing and better bat speed. As you probably know, that line should go straight down the middle of your body for an even swing. JoeKirby
Ok Thanks for the tips guys. Maybe I'll post one after I have another batting practice. Most of the time I don't really use a high leg kick like that, but Thanks MarkB, Y4L!
