jhtapp76
Has anyone figured out yet how to modify "Team Color 1" and "Team Color 2"? Meaning how can we change the actual colors and shades? I suspect that wherever this data is stored, it dictates such things as the color of under shirts, catcher's gear, etc. Any ideas?

I want to change the Blue Jay's color 1 to blue, not black.
rows24
It has to be in a uniform file somewhere or a main team file. I think we are just overlookking it.
Iceman90
I have been playing around with the uniform files a little bit, to see what I can find. It seems that the primary team color is assigned ona uniform-by-uniform basis. Take the Blue Jays for example - their home, road and alternate jerseys have a team color 1 of black, but their vintage jerseys have a blue primary color, and totally different colored batting helmets as well I am not sure exactly where this is defined - I am going to compare the 2 uniforms (home and vintage home) file by file, and see what I can find. Before I do however, I'll try importing the vintage jersey over the home jersey and see what happens. My theory is this - if I import all the vintage home uniform files over the home uniform files, and the team's primary color changes, then it's directly related to the files somehow. If not, it's either hard coded, or in a config file somewhere else. Has anyone tried this to see if it'll work?
pena1
I have been trying to get any kind of lead on this without any luck. It seems each uniform iff is pulling the information for undershirts and helmets from another file. An ex. if you swap file names with the rangers red unis (uniform_ter_alt_1) with white unis (uniform_ter_home) you will get red uniforms with blue helmets and undershirts, white uniforms with red helmets and undershirts. Another good place we can look into is where created teams information is stored...
Iceman90
Why these colors would be hard coded into the game is beyond me. They've got to be accessible somewhere. I am going to look through a couple more files and see what I can find.
Micropterus58
In NBA 2K10 and 2K11 it's in the ROS file as a hexidecimal entry. 1046A8 is a shade of blue and FFFFFA is off white. The file structures for 2KSports games are very similar.
