electro_cute Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 there are many problems in this game but nothing gets me more than fielding. what i hate the most is that every guy plays like bj upton. not fast, but lazy. if you have a ball hit towards center field other fielders don't back him up, they just stroll towards the ball - if you miss a diving catch that means triple or hr couse your guy has to get up, chase the ball and throw it couse no one is backing him up! and infield is even worse. god forbid first or third baseman jump or dive on line drives that pass foot or two beside them. if a groundball is hit in the vicinity of second base god shortstop or 2nd baseman will just walk towards the ball and let it slowly roll to the outfield. this is incredibly frustrating. anyone knows how to make these lazy virtual people run and dive? One thing I learned is to be extremely ready/prepared to move your fielders as SOON as the ball leaves the bat. I also like increasing my fielder speed in difficulty sliders.
